NZKA Easter 2016 - Tauranga
Saturday afternoon brought winds from N to NE.
Saturday afternoon.
Sunday and the wind was mostly westerly. Lengthened organza tails on "Battle of Mountains" kites had their first outing and performed very well.
Monday and winds were from the SW.
Our Rolf Zimmerman owl had some sky time after a break of a few years - the owl was one of the original set Rolf took to Bondi.
The NZKA Easter Festival and AGM returned to Fergusson Park, Tauranga in 2016. Most days the wind did not arrive until after 1pm and was quite shifty. A lot of "old friends" were pulled from the kite bags and given some sky time.
